During the Pandemic

Although the reality of gathering together has been greatly curtailed during these times of needing to be apart, the youth have and will continue to do so in a variety of ways. When weather permits, outdoor gatherings will be considered. And of course, Zoom gatherings and other technologically supported possibilities are being used for many of our programs, including Confirmation Classes.

Youth Groups

Youth are not just the future of our church; they are fully present and ministering with us. They inspire us as they participate in the leadership of our worship services, community nights, children's programs, and mission projects.

Youth Group (grades 7-12)
Beyond weekly gatherings on Wednesday nights, you might also find our youth at:

  • Fire & Ice winter wilderness retreat
  • Mission trips

  • Participation in various community service projects including intergenerational opportunities
  • Summer camp

Karpenter's Kids (grades 4-7)
