Youth are not just the future of our church; they are fully present and ministering with us. They inspire us as they participate in the leadership of our worship services, community nights, children's programs, and mission projects.
Youth Group (grades 7-12)
Beyond weekly gatherings on Wednesday nights, you might also find our youth at:
- Wider UCC church gatherings (Fall and Spring Conference Youth Events, Conference Annual Meeting, etc.)
- Fire & Ice winter wilderness retreat
- Mission trips
- The Urban Immersion Program
- Participation in various community service projects including intergenerational opportunities
- Summer camp
Karpenter's Kids (grades 4-7)
Karpenter's Kids is a younger youth group for our 4th-7th graders and their families. They meet once a month for fellowship and mission projects. Beyond weekly gatherings on Sunday mornings, you might also find our Karpenter's Kids at:
- Stocking shelves at the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf
- Creating care packages for our college students
- Bouncing at Zero Gravity and snow tubing at Elm Creek
- Making meals at Feed My Starving Children
- Fall cleanup for church members
- Creating Valentine’s for the Ronald McDonald House and cards for church members
